DEVELOPMENT HISTORY OF THE SON LA PROVINCE INSPECTION AGENCY THROUGH THE PERIODS
I. DEVELOPMENT HISTORY
The Son La Provincial Inspectorate was established in 1963, right after the Northwest region split the province.
From the early days of its establishment, the Provincial Inspectorate with 05 officers was reinforced from the Regional Inspectorate, then continued to be reinforced with officers from Nghe An province, Hai Phong city and the Northwest Military Region. By the end of 1964, the Provincial Inspectorate had 09 officers, of which 04 officers had a level III cultural level, the rest had a level I, II level. During this time, the Inspectorate began to be established at the district, town and some Departments, branches and sectors of the province.
In April 1965, while Son La province was developing and consolidating inspection organizations and inspection officers were enthusiastically performing assigned tasks, the Government issued a Decision to dissolve the Inspection Committee and the Inspection Boards of localities to strengthen the anti-American forces to save the country; the inspection task was assigned to the Heads of all levels and sectors to directly undertake, leaving only one inspector at the Provincial People's Committee Office and the District People's Committee Office in each place to assist the Head of the same level in monitoring and urging the settlement of complaints and denunciations.
By August 1969, in response to the country's new tasks and the necessary requirements of inspection work and the work of considering complaints and denunciations, the Central Government Inspection Committee was established on August 11, 1969 under Resolution No. 780/NQ-TVQH of the National Assembly of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. In Son La province, after a period of preparation, the inspection sector was re-established on November 18, 1970, called the Provincial Inspection Committee and at the same time prepared for the establishment of the Inspection Committee, to consider complaints at the district and town levels. Then in July 1977, it was renamed the District and Town Inspection Committee. During this period, 20 Inspection Committees of Departments, branches and sectors in the province were consolidated.
In February 1984, when Resolution No. 26/HDBT of the Council of Ministers was issued, the Provincial Inspection Committee changed its name to the Provincial State Inspection Committee, and the District and Town Inspection Committee changed its name to the District and Town State Inspection Committee.
By April 1990, with the promulgation of the Inspection Ordinance, up to this point, this is the document with the highest legal effect of the Vietnamese State on inspection work, creating a legal basis and clearly defining the position of inspection work in the cause of national innovation. The inspection system from province to district, Department, board, and branch was renamed: Provincial Inspectorate, District Inspectorate, Department, board, and branch.
